4 Time-Saving Tips for Christmas Photo Book Gifts

Try as we might to get ahead of the tinsel and table settings, Christmas sneaks up on us faster and faster every year. Not to worry—you have plenty of time to create memorable photo book gifts for the whole family.

We asked our blogger squad to create their dream Christmas photo book. Here’s a handy time-saving checklist compiled from their top tips and pics to make your photo book clever, unique, and winter wonderful.

Tip 1: Focus on just one trip

Take a page from Annie Reeves and kick off your photo book with memorable pics from that one big trip of 2017. The photos are already grouped together on your phone or in a Facebook album, so you can’t use that it-takes-so-long-to-find-photos excuse anymore.

Tip 2: Include past Christmas cards

We all have that kitchen drawer filled with cards from Christmas past. Sift out a few best-of cards, and photograph them with Christmas props—we love how Melissa of Bubby and Bean created these winter vignettes.

Tip 3: Create-by-number

If you’re overflowing with good vibes, make a numerical list. Carrie from Dream Green DIY did just that with her “12 Reasons Why I Love You” book theme. She recruited photography pals The Mallorys and planned a day to capture all that cosy love.

Tip 4: Ready-made, made easy

Bubby and Bean cut her creation time in half by selecting a pre-designed photo book template called “Winter Joy.” This gives her more time to focus on selecting and arranging photos—and finishing the rest of her shopping!

Now that you’re armed with these page-turning tips, start creating your own own photo book gift.

Don’t forget to tag your photo stories on Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest with @snapfishIE and #snapfishie. We love seeing what you create.
