Photo Books

You can create a photo book for any occasion you’d like! When you create a photo book, you can choose from pre-designed templates specific to different occasions, from newborn photo books through to holiday albums and celebrating your big day with wedding photo books. If you’d prefer, you can create a photo book from scratch with up to 150 pages!

You can add or delete pages using the +/- menu in the book builder. Most books require pages to be added in multiples of 2, except our smallest books, which require multiples of 8. Photo Books must have a minimum of 20 pages and a maximum that varies by book type (up to 150). See the product description for details.

Yes, photos can span two pages. Layflat photo books are ideal for this, as their seamless binding allows images to spread elegantly. Other book types may crop photos across two pages, so we recommend layflat books for this design.

You can upgrade your photo book to a higher-quality type of the same size (e.g. softcover to hardcover) via the ‘Review’ page. You cannot downgrade or change the book size. If you upgrade, both the original and upgraded versions will be saved.

You can create your photo book on mobile by downloading the Snapfish app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Our helpful app is easy to use, but we’ve also put together a handy blog post to walk you through the process of creating photo books on mobile.

Currently, projects cannot be shared between the mobile app and desktop site. Projects created on the mobile app can only be edited and ordered there, and the same applies to desktop. We hope to offer cross-platform sharing in the future.

Any sample text will be printed unless you edit or delete it using the ‘bin’ icon. Empty photo slots will be printed blank.

You can choose from a range of shapes and sizes when creating your photo book with Snapfish. Our range features landscape photo books, portrait photo books and square photo books , with photo books to fit A3, A4, A5 and A6 paper.

All our photo book pages are 200gsm. Layflat photo books use extra-thick pages with a matt laminate for added durability and a premium feel.

Depending on the delivery option you select, we aim to deliver your photo books within 8-10 days. This includes the time taken to produce your book and deliver it to your address.
